Introduction:
Howdy! I go by Sorah. That is not my government name, but I prefer to have my demographics blurred when collaborating online to avoid bias. I could go by aspiring essayist, but I hoped this website would serve more as an outlet for my intellectual and emotional self expression than for any true passion for the arts.
For those who choose to follow up, you should note that I am still at the stage of life where a comfortable future is not guaranteed for me. To maximise those chances, im still working and studying my ass off, so regardless of how 'passionate' i am about the things i discuss, it is forced to remain secondary. My unwillingness to write after work and study makes me wonder whether or not I truly am passionate, or if i've lost myself to the communal delusion of security being obtainable solely though academics and finance. But I digress. My 'uploads' are slow.
Now, I am very open to feedback, suggestions and discussion, which is why I've implemented a guestbook (the fish on the shelf). If you do ever want to argue against any ideas of mine, suggest a new perspective or even 'correct' something, the guestbook will provide a space for that. Just remain respectful and considerate of others is all. I am still a little too timid to reach out to public servers and present my thoughts there, so opening my own corner and allowing others to choose to interact with it is, I suppose, one step closer to feeling confident enough to dip my toes into the water.
